Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit my re-election website, www.vogt4olathe.com. I am excited to share with you my thoughts about Olathe, the successes experienced to date as well as the opportunities that stand before us.

What a privilege to live in one of the best places in America in which to have a home, work, play, and raise a family! This is not just my personal opinion but is evidenced by the numerous national awards and honors that Olathe continues to receive. Olathe is a quality place with caring citizens. It may be the fourth largest city in Kansas but it still has that small town feel that fosters a sense of community. Yet, we must not rest on the successes achieved thus far but continue to strive toward the continued improvement of the quality of life for all those who live in Olathe.

Citizens demand fiscal responsibility in government. Olathe remains fiscally strong and without increasing the mill levy supporting the general budget! Our bond ratings are the best in the history of Olathe. Ensuring fiscal stability while providing excellence in service and maintaining our assets, without putting additional burden on taxpayers, is of utmost importance. We must ensure the decisions made today will provide long-term fiscal, environmental, and social sustainability of our community.

I bring to the Olathe City Council commitment, leadership, and experience. My record of achievements speaks for my tenacity and ability to collaborate with others to get things done. These traits are indispensable when growing a quality community.

Citizen participation is essential for effective government. I will continue to make myself available to my constituents by phone, email, individual appointments, homeowner association and ward meetings when needed.

It has been my honor and privilege to represent and serve the citizens of Ward 4. My pledge is to continue to represent you by focusing on the priorities of the citizens of Olathe. I humbly ask for your vote on November 2nd.
